Start your day early and head to Oslo Central Station to embark on the Norway in a Nutshell® journey to Bergen, with an overnight stop in the scenic village of Flåm.
The train ride takes you across Norway’s "mountainous rooftops" and through picturesque towns like Gol and Geilo.
In Myrdal, transfer to the famous Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana), offering breathtaking views as it winds down to Flåm.
Once in Flåm, enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the area. You can hike along one of the many mountain trails or opt for additional activities like kayaking, fjord sightseeing, or visiting the Stegastein viewing platform.

This morning, embark on a boat tour through Aurlandsfjord, continuing into the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in Europe.
Considered the most stunning section of Sognefjord, it’s renowned for its dramatic waterfalls and quaint farms nestled along the steep mountainsides.
The boat will dock in Gudvangen, where you’ll take a bus to Voss, followed by a scenic train ride to complete the final leg of your journey to Bergen.

Spend the day exploring the historic and picturesque city of Bergen. Begin with a ride on the Fløibanen Funicular to the summit of Mount Fløyen, where you’ll be treated to panoramic views.
From there, take a cable car to the top of Mount Ulriken, and enjoy the winding hiking trails that lead you across Bergen’s seven surrounding mountains.
Bergen is also home to several fascinating museums, including Troldhaugen, dedicated to composer Edvard Grieg, and KODE, Scandinavia’s largest museum of art and design.
