As morning arrives, Bergen will come into view. Disembark to explore this charming city, often called the “Capital of the Fjords.” Despite being an international city, Bergen exudes the warmth and charm of a small town.

Make your way to Bryggen, a historic district featuring well-preserved old houses. This vibrant area is also home to a bustling fish and flower market, where local vendors offer fresh goods.

Today, you have an entire day to explore the stunning city of Bergen. Start by taking a ride on the Fløibanen Funicular to the summit of Mount Fløyen, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its surroundings.

For an even higher vantage point, take a cable car up to Mount Ulriken, where you can explore winding hiking trails that lead across the mountains, offering scenic vistas along the way.

Back in the city, visit some of Bergen’s renowned museums, including Troldhaugen, dedicated to the famous composer Edvard Grieg, and KODE, Scandinavia’s largest museum of art and design.

Today marks one of the most scenic segments of your journey. Say farewell to Bergen and board the Bergensbanen train, traveling through majestic mountains to the town of Voss.

From Voss, you’ll continue to GudvangenHarbour, where you’ll embark on a 2-hour fjord cruise to Flåm. The cruise will take you through Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in all of Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s part of the spectacular Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. Marvel at the towering peaks, cascading waterfalls, and picturesque farmhouses along the way.

The boat will then navigate Aurlandsfjord before reaching Flåm, a charming village nestled at the edge of the fjord.
